Local lodging market forecasts

PricewaterhouseCoopers introduced its econometric forecasting model to the US lodging industry in the early 1990s. Since then we have incorporated various modeling enhancements to conform to state-of-the-art econometric techniques. The US model has accurately predicted numerous turning points (beginnings of recoveries or downturns) in industry performance ahead of their actual occurrences and in advance of other analysts' predictions. Based on original empirical research, we regularly report a 12-quarter forecast on occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR for the industry and its segments to subscribers of the research journal PricewaterhouseCoopers Hospitality Directions.

It is with great pleasure that we introduce a new subscription-based forecasting service for 12 US local markets, namely: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, State of Hawaii, Orlando, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Washington DC. Additional markets can be ordered as per the instructions in the attached brochure. Consistent with our overall modeling and forecasting methods, the local market models are designed to provide the same level of research rigor.

Please review the attached service details document and subscription form explaining in more detail the new service, coverage, and subscription fees.
