Another Academic First For PwC Staff Member
Extending PwC staff members' track records of academic excellence into other areas of professional certification, Tameka Morris was awarded the Williams S. Smith Certificate of Honor upon her successful completion of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examinations.The CIA exam is administered by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), which is recognised as the internal audit profession’s leader in certification, education, research, and technological guidance. Awards are based on individual performance on the core exam parts.
Tameka received her award for being ranked between 6th and 31st place in the world. Tameka was one of more than 17,000 candidates who sat the May 2006 CIA exams at 257 exam sites in 91 countries. The William S. Smith Certificate of Honor is presented to the 25 candidates with the next-highest scores following those of the gold medalist and Certification of Excellence recipients. Tameka is the first Jamaican to achieve an award at this level for the CIA exams.
