Hiring process

Our hiring process is designed to help candidates match their career interests with the many different positions we have available. It is also designed to allow both the candidate and the firm assess the strength of the match throughout the hiring process by conducting a review of the candidate's experience and, comparing it to the requirements of the position being sought.

Job Search Process
It often starts here. During the job search process, you can search our open positions database on the web using relevant criteria (e.g. location interest, line of service, and/or keyword). From there, you can further refine your search by reading through the job descriptions returned to you in the results page. Once you have found the position in which you are most interested, you can apply on-line directly for that role. You will receive a confirmation that your resume has been received and that one of our recruiters will follow up with you should they find there to be a possible match.

Candidate Matching Process
As you can imagine, it is not likely that everyone who expresses an interest in a given position will in fact be an appropriate match for the role. However, our recruiting teams work hard to carefully review each of the resumes we receive. Assuming an appropriate match is found, the next step will likely result in an interview with PwC.

Interview Process
The PwC interview process usually starts with a one-on-one interview with a member of our experienced recruiting team. If the session is successful, it is likely to lead to follow-up discussions with our partners and several other members of our staff. The process is largely based on learning about your past accomplishments and how those contributions could contribute to your success at PwC.

Realistic Job Preview
As part of our commitment to our candidates, we will share with you during the interview a "realistic job preview" of the position. This preview will include such things as our expectations of the person who assumes the position, the travel requirements of the job, and the hours required to effectively perform the duties. We believe it is important to try to avoid any "surprises" once a candidate joins the firm.

Pre-Employment Screening
Individuals who are hired by PwC will go through a comprehensive background screening process before they join the firm. It is important to us, and it is important to our clients, that we employ only those people who meet our standards.

Interview Preparation Suggestions
There are many ways for you to prepare yourself for an interview discussion. Perhaps one of the best is to make sure you have taken the time to reflect on the requirements of the position you are seeking, the specific accomplishments you have achieved in the past, and how these accomplishments and your skills in general will help you become successful in the role at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Thinking about these items in advance of the discussion will ensure that you are well-prepared to share with us clear, complete and meaningful examples of your experiences.
