At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), we support many tax-exempt organizations and educational institutions. Throughout the year, our partners and staff across the country donate their time, talent, and dollars to charitable organizations. Partnering with other business organizations and community leaders, we also channel financial and professional resources into the communities where our employees work and live.
Our recent community service events include:
- Community Service Month: During the month of June, thousands of PwC employees from offices across the US volunteer in their communities as part of our annual month of community service. From walk-a-thons and new home construction to community clean-ups and educational instruction, our people donate thousands of hours over thirty days to help inspire change.
- Junior Achievement: Through Junior Achievement, PwC reaches out to America's youth to increase their self-awareness and prepare them for the workforce.
- United Way: PwC has a longstanding and firm-wide commitment to United Way. Through individual contributions and Firm support, our funds benefit more than 45,000 agencies and chapters across the country.
- Habitat for Humanity: In recent years, more than 200 PwC employees have contributed their sweat equity to provide housing opportunities for deserving families.
- Boys and Girls Club: Through the Tomorrow’s Leaders program, PwC volunteers in Los Angeles held interactive sessions at the Boys and Girls Club for middle and high school students to help them prepare for entering the work force.
- Streetwise Partners: Bridging Corporations and the Community: For over seven years, the New York office of PwC has been providing space to Streetwise Partners, a welfare-to-work program serving underemployed and unemployed individuals.
