Aspire 2008

Coaching and Development.
Coaching is a part of our culture. You’ll have an assigned Coach who’ll guide you through with sound career advice and practical assistance as you develop your skills. In the early days, you’ll have a ‘buddy’, who’ll answer all those little questions you’d rather no-one knew you had to ask.

Our training and development programmes are recognised as the best, and opportunities to learn new skills never dry up. You can count on up to 400 hours of training in your first three years with PwC.

See the world at work.
The PwC global network is yours to explore. At present 124 people from PwC New Zealand are enjoying a taste of working life in 12 countries, from the short hop across the Tasman to Saudi Arabia, Russia, Switzerland, the UK, America and beyond. Secondments aren’t all lengthy affairs, sometimes it’s a few weeks, sometimes a few months, sometimes years.

People.
Smart, interesting, clever, funny, quirky, tall, short, inspirational, fascinating, snappy dressers – and not so snappy dressers. They’re all here and they all belong here.

Rewards.
Ah, you thought we’d never mention it. Let’s face it, you want to know your hard work will be reflected in your bank balance so you can lead the lifestyle you aspire to. We’ll pay you at a rate that reflects your talent. We don’t simply look at a dollar amount: aside from remuneration, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, for example staff discounts at retailers and the ability to purchase additional leave for extended holidays.

Community.
You can put your hand up and volunteer for a charity or community cause one day each year and we’ll pay you for it. Meanwhile, the PwC Foundation supports community and charitable causes 365 days a year.

Connected.
With our up-to-the-minute technology at your fingertips, you’re instantly well connected. The vast bank of knowledge and resources the PwC global network opens up to you is always available. You’ll find the answers you’re looking for and the answers to some questions you didn’t even know you had.
