There is a total of 14 examinations to be completed. The "Fundamentals Level" includes nine examinations and the "Professional Level" includes five examinations.
All papers in the "Fundamentals level" are available for exemption.
The "Fundamentals Level" is divided into two modules:
The Knowledge module:
It consists of three papers, and introduces students to the core areas of financial and management accounting.
The Skills module:
It consists of six exams, which comprehensively cover the main technical areas that any accountant needs.
The "Professional Level" assesses the more advanced and sophisticated techniques that a professional needs, in order to specialise in specific areas at work, or to follow as a career pathway in an advisory or consultancy role. This level is also divided into two modules:
