Nurture & Grow

People are our assets. Because we understand that our people drive our ongoing success, we are committed to attracting, retaining and motivating high-calibre people.

Nurturing and sustaining a vibrant culture that celebrates our values of teamwork, excellence and leadership remain our priorities. We encourage individual development and growth through ample learning opportunities and progression through well-defined career development pathways.

At PricewaterhouseCoopers, we endeavour to inspire all our people to greater achievement. We provide a continuous learning environment to help you recognise and develop your full potential. We encourage open-minded, collaborative mindsets, which foster creative thinking and inspire visionary solutions to issues. We also help our people to explore career development across business units and in other geographic locations through the launch of our global careers website, which promote transfers within the PwC network.

Take for instance, our Genesis Park think-tank brings together high-achieving young professionals from our firms all over the world and immense them in an intensive 5-month residency programme in Washington DC. The programme aims to generate new ideas, promote innovation and cultural change, and foster a global viewpoint among the next generation of leaders. Since 2001, more than 110 staff members from 26 countries have participated in the programme, which has been cited in the Financial Times, Harvard Management Update, and other human resources publications.

"Perhaps one of the most unique features of the Genesis Park program is its flat, non-hierarchical structure. In other words, no one is boss. That way, instructors say, everyone's ideas - no matter how unorthodox - are equally valued. What's more, it teaches participants to influence others through their leadership abilities instead of their titles, and encourages them to follow others based on the validity of their ideas."
