To qualify as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), you must undertake a three-year training programme,
under a five year contract with PricewaterhouseCoopers. The training contract commences in September each year.
Duration of Scheme, Study Leave and Fees
Over the period of the three year training programme, PwC covers all expenses for the Trainees’ first attempt in each examination (i.e. Tuition fees, study material, examination fees, student society subscription fees, membership fee).
In addition, Trainees obtain paid study leave to attend college classes. They are also allowed to take paid study leave for the preparation of the first attempt of each examination.
Application Deadline
Applicants for the Trainee Accountant positions are usually interviewed, between August-December, one year prior to the commencement of their training.
Our offices in Cyprus are likely to have completed their intake for the following July/August and nearly all places will have been filled by the end of December. Therefore, it is advisable to apply early. Late applicants may find that all places have been filled and their entry must be postponed for a year.
