Structured around a group learning experience, Go Audit is a dynamic, two-week introduction to the way we work on audit engagements at PwC. Your team will face a variety of tasks that challenge you to demonstrate an understanding of audit and business processes, incorporating technology and critical thinking skills as a team. The program is delivered nationally at central training locations, allowing you to begin to build the professional peer network that will serve you well throughout your career.
Advisory University: This annual premier learning event for the Advisory line of service brings together all Advisory client service professionals across the country and several international attendees, from members of the global leadership and senior U.S. partners to associates and analysts. In addition to a full curriculum that includes both technical and professional development courses instructed by internal and external experts, this week-long event provides everyone, from entry level staff through partner, the opportunity to listen to leadership and obtain an understanding of the Firm’s strategy and goals, to acquire new relevant skills and knowledge, and to build and develop relationships across the practice.
Tax Associate Series and Tax SELECT:Instructor-led courses, ranging from three to ten days in length, form the cornerstone of development for Tax associates in a wide variety of Tax technical, professional and business skills areas. Tax associates receive in-depth technical training from both internal and external experts in the taxation of corporations, pass-through entities, individuals, international transactions and multi-state transactions, supplemented with project management and relationship management skills training designed to accelerate their development into world-class business and Tax advisors. Senior associates attend the annual Tax SELECT program, featuring the latest strategies, available products and services and technical developments in Taxation, along with a wide array of professional skills development opportunities. Over 100 courses are offered, empowering them to take control of their professional development with a plan tailored specifically to their individual needs and interests.
Training Programs for Internal Firm Services (IFS) For the approximately 5,000 non-client facing staff of the firm, the ongoing training provided supports the firm’s strategy: People, Quality and Profitable Growth. Supporting the firm’s strategy with specific training has been identified by the Firm and IFS Leadership as critical to the growth and development of IFS staff. Examples of some of the courses offered in IFS are: Creating & Managing Supplier Relationships and Coaching in a Box Series: Building Trust Through Honest Feedback; Receiving & Using Feedback
; and, Skillful Coaching Conversations. This training enables IFS staff to provide quality customer service to internal clients.
