As a recent graduate you may well be continuing with your studies after joining PricewaterhouseCoopers. If you are studying towards a qualification as a Chartered Accountant you will still have a couple of hurdles to clear before completing your studies and qualifying. We recognise how important this is to you and to us as a firm. Our extensive study support programmes are there to help you.
Financial Assistance for Studies
Financial assistance for further study is provided in the form of a bursary. Financial assistance will be provided in instances where an employee is studying further in a field which has direct relevance to the employee's current position in the firm. Study must be through an accredited university, college or institution.
In the case of Trainee Accountants who are completing their Chartered Accounting qualification, financial assistance is provided for completion of Parts One and Two of the PPE (Public Practice Examination) as well as for the completion of the PPE diploma course which is a pre-requisite for the PPE2 paper.
Will I be given enough study leave?
Study leave is granted in conjunction with the firm's policy in this regard. Study leave entitlement is dependent on the level of course and the number of attempts already undertaken. Trainee Accountants who are completing their Chartered Accounting qualification are eligible for study leave to attend a PPE preparation course, and for both Parts of the Public Practice Examination.
