Executive Biographies

Gino Scapillati, CA, CPA

Gino Scapillati is one of two national managing partners of PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada. In this role, he is a member of the Executive Team and Canadian Leadership Group. Gino oversees the operations of various Canadian offices, as well as the firm's Audit and Assurance Group, industry programs, services to national top tier audit clients, and its marketing and knowledge management teams.

Gino's key focus as a national managing partner will be to further develop PwC's relationships with the business community, increase the firm's market penetration, and ensure that our clients receive quality services and leading industry expertise.

Gino is a past leader of the firm's Greater Toronto Area Audit and Assurance Group, and previously served as Canadian leader of the firm's Entertainment and Media industry practice. Gino has been the lead engagement partner on work with some of Canada's largest companies. In his new role, he will continue to lead the firm's services to several large national and global companies, ensuring the resources of PwC's global network are available to assist clients.

Gino is a Canadian Chartered Accountant as well as a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Summa Cum Laude) from McMaster University. He is currently a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, also serving on its Finance Committee. He is a member of the Borders and Trade Infrastructure Committee of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. He is also a frequent presenter at the Directors Education Program of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors.

Gino's active community involvement includes work with the Board of Directors of the Bread of Life Catholic Renewal Centre.
