On November 2007, PwC Czech Republic was also an active partner in the first social advertising competition in the Czech Republic: “Zihadlo” (The Sting).

The competition reinforced the firm’s belief that not only private companies but also not-for-profit organisations should have the opportunity to develop successful campaigns despite limited resources.

PwC supports social advertising competition in the Czech Republic

PwC Czech Republic’s cooperation with the Information Centre for NGO’s (ICN) started in July 2006. A year later, we were still the professional partner of the Tax Calculator, which informs the public that employees, companies and entrepreneurs can deduct their financial contributions to NGOs.

The firm strengthened the ICN partnership by hosting seminars on NGO topics at our premises. We offered professional knowledge and active participation in seminars that encouraged collaboration between NGOs and commercial companies. The NGO representatives found the commercial point of view was extremely useful, especially in the areas of fundraising and communication.

On November 2007, PwC Czech Republic was also an active partner in the first social advertising competition in the country: “Zihadlo” (The Sting). The competition was entered by 27 NGOs and involved 40 different campaigns. Ten marketing professionals from the Czech Republic, including one PwC representative, selected winners in press advertisement, TV and cinema advertisement, radio spot and online.

The competition reinforced the firm’s belief that not only private companies but also not-for-profit organizations should have the opportunity to develop successful campaigns despite limited resources.
