Gerry is an International Tax Partner in the New York Office of PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") currently on secondment to PwC Tel-Aviv (Kesselman & Kesselman) where he manages the tax practice of PwC Israel and leads the international tax and transfer pricing practices.
Gerry has extensive experience in providing international tax services to U.S. and non-U.S. multinational corporations including planning for inbound and outbound international acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture agreements, start-up investments, mergers and acquisitions and repatriation strategies and various
other global tax optimization programs. In addition, Gerry has extensive experience in conducting and supervising global transfer pricing projects in accordance with U.S., OECD and Israeli transfer pricing regulations.
As the head of the Israeli tax desk in legacy C&L NY, Gerry has gained specific expertise with respect to U.S. investments in Israeli companies. He has assisted many U.S. investors and venture funds with respect to their Israeli investments and operations. As the leading international tax professional in PwC Israel, Gerry is the global tax engagement partner on many of Israel´s multinational companies especially in the pharmaceutical and high tech industries.
Gerry received a law degree from Bar-Ilan University, Israel, and practiced law in Israel for five years prior to joining PwC. He also received an MBA from New York University and is a CPA in the United States. Gerry lectured an International Tax course at the Bar-Ilan University LLM program and is also a frequent speaker in U.S., European and Israeli conferences and seminars relating to international tax taxation.
