The second annual PwC Transparency Awards has built on the success of the inaugural Awards held in 2007. We were delighted to have the Centre for Social Impact join PwC and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia to collaborate on the Awards, designed to recognise the quality and transparency of reporting in the not-for-profit sector
The winning organisation benefits from raising its profile as an organisation with a proven commitment to transparent reporting. It receives $20,000 towards the training and development of its people. All submissions are reviewed by a panel of experts and will receive an individual feedback report.
"Initiatives like the PwC Transparency Awards draw attention to the importance of reporting in the not-for-profit sector. JDRF benefited from the individual feedback report received which has helped us further improve the quality of our reporting." Mike Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, inaugural winner of the 2007 PwC Transparency Awards
