The National Business Book Award

The NBBA was established in 1985 to recognize the outstanding talent in Canadian business writing. It is widely considered one of Canada's most prestigious English-language book awards.

The CAN$20,000 award, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, the BMO Financial Group and media partner The Globe and Mail, provides a substantial incentive to Canadian authors. The range of submissions every year reflects the breadth of Canadian business writing from financial analysis to social, historical and economic commentaries on issues affecting the business community.

"The NBBA recognizes accomplished writing skills combined with powerful ideas and cutting-edge research in the world of business. We offer our support to these writers who are making a real contribution to the Canadian business community," says Chris Clark, CEO, PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada.
