Success stories: Egypt

PwC Egypt believes there is no better way to learn and develop skills than to take part in a good cause that benefits the community.

Using every opportunity to take part in the community

It is a local tradition for PwC Egypt staff to use team building and training events as an opportunity to give back to the community. Before beginning each course, participants get involved in a community activity that helps broaden their social awareness and learn the worth of caring for others.

For example, new recruits to PwC Egypt’s ‘Go Audit’ team participated in a visit along with thirty 16 year old children with challenged physical and mental abilities to the historic 'Pharaonic Village'. Participants took a tour of the village while getting to know and understand each other better.

On another occasion, Team Managers joined 15 elderly women and men for a morning of fun and games rounded off by a group lunch.
