| As an influential business organisation and member of today's rapidly-changing global society, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has a long-held commitment to making a constructive difference to the world in which we operate. We are profoundly aware that we need to seriously consider the impact we will have on the future—and work hard to develop a greater understanding of the social and environmental issues that face the leaders of tomorrow.
Global Communities is made up of four pillars, or supports: providing professional services, volunteering in our communities, corporate community leadership, and giving. Our people work together across all four pillars, using their skills and knowledge for the maximum benefit of their communities. Most importantly, within each pillar, we are focused on developing strong and sustainable communities; recognising that each community is made up of a diverse range of individuals, organisations and forums, and therefore requires different ways for us to work them.
Our wide-ranging contributions are about more than simply giving money: they are about linking energy and passion with business skills and our core competencies. |
