Miles Everson is PwC’s Asia Pacific Americas (APA) and US Advisory Leader. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing over 10,000 professionals focused on consulting, deals and forensics services.

Miles previously served on the firm’s U.S. Advisory leadership team as Advisory Financial Services Leader, and earlier as Advisory Banking & Capital Markets Sector co-leader. He was also PwC’s Global Advisory Risk Consulting Leader, focused on helping large complex organizations with enterprise governance and risk management programmes.

With more than 25 years of professional services experience, Miles currently works with some of the largest organisations in the world. As a PwC Partner, he frequently works with executive management and Boards to improve their capabilities to balance growth, risk and return strategies and execution of business activities.

Miles is a principal author of the recently updated Committee of Sponsoring Organizations' (COSO) Internal Control – Integrated Framework which includes the Illustrative Tools for Assessing Effectiveness of a System of Internal Control and also the COSO Internal Control over External Financial Reporting: A Compendium of Approaches and Examples. He is also a principal author of the COSO Enterprise Risk Management – Integrated Framework, a widely accepted framework used by organizations to design and implement risk management programs and the COSO Internal Control over Financial Reporting – Guidance for Smaller Companies and The Acceleration of Change – Seizing the Future Through Focused Business Risk Management.

Miles has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Compliance Week and has been featured on CNBC. He is a frequent speaker at conferences, including those sponsored by Compliance Week, the Canadian Risk and Insurance Management Society, the Federated Press, The Risk Management Association and the International Quality and Productivity Center.

Everson graduated from St. Cloud State University and holds a B.S. in Accounting. He is based in New York City.
