Vinod Baya

Vinod Baya is a director at the CTI and also an editor of the Technology Forecast. As a technology strategist and futurist, Vinod has been developing, analyzing and forecasting advanced uses of technology for over 15 years. He consults with established and emerging companies around the world on a wide range of issues that are impacted by technology trends, such as business and technology strategy, M&A, venture financing, R&D, intellectual property and others. Vinod frequently delivers perspectives and analysis on emerging technology topics to audiences and clients globally.

Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999, Vinod was a research scientist at NASA Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, leading many initiatives in the advanced uses of Internet technologies in facilitating collaboration and knowledge management.

Vinod holds a doctoral degree from Stanford University, an M.S. from Rutgers University, and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
