Warren Skea is a Director in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Health Enterprise Growth Practice with more than 12 years experience in hospital administration, quality improvement, program development, change management, pay-for-performance, and reimbursement initiatives.
Before joining PwC, Warren was the National Director of Performance and Quality Improvement Initiatives for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. While there, he led the development and implementation of the award-winning hospital-based quality improvement program, Get With The Guidelines (GWTG) in over 1500 US hospitals. Warren was also the Senior Methodologist for the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) where he developed DRG based weights (RVU’s) acute, ambulatory and continuing care funding formulas utilized for hospitals in Canada.
Warren received his Ph.D. from the University of Calgary where he specialized in health policy and quantitative methodology. He is currently a Fellow of the American Heart Association (F.A.H.A.). Warren is an extensively published researcher on the topics of change, hospital process and quality improvement and pay-for-performance projects.
