Sandy Lutz

Sandy Lutz is managing director of the Health Research Institute (HRI) of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms. Lutz leads national and global thought leadership and research initiatives for the firm and clients. HRI is a dedicated research group that provides new intelligence, perspective, and analysis on major health-related business issues. She has 20 years of experience consulting to and writing about the health industry.

Ms. Lutz has been a columnist for the American Journal for Healthcare Management and has written four books on the business of healthcare. She is chairman of the DFW Health Industry Council.

In 2008, Ms. Lutz was named one of the 30 Most Influential Women in Business by the Dallas Business Journal, and in 2009, she was named Healthcare Affordability Hero of the Year by the DFW Alliance for Healthcare Excellence for her work in helping to get coverage for uninsured children.
