Gerald McDougall is a Principal and leads the firm’s Personalized Medicine and Health Sciences practices, which specialize in issues of scientific organizations, universities and academic medical centers, as well as organizations across the healthcare continuum.

Working with companies involved in all positions of the R&D lifecycle — from academia through commercialization — Gerry specializes in driving synergistic alliances, such as public-private partnerships, to develop new scientific ventures. He has led projects at organizations dedicated to cancer, orthopedics, diabetes, neurological disorders, cardiovascular, metabolics/diabetes, pediatrics and orphan diseases.

Gerry’s clients include CEO’s, Presidents, Boards of Directors, prominent scientific leadership including Nobel Laureates, National Academy members, Lasker Award recipients, leaders of patient advocacy groups, heads of R&D, Chief Scientific Officers, Chief Medical Officers, the federal government, foreign governments and governors of several states.
