Case Study #1 − Our US team helped a global software company to assess its third-party business partner risk and implement an automated and scalable solution, which uses Microsoft technology

Foreign government regulators have been aggressively pursuing companies whose business partners made inappropriate payments on their behalf, in order to obtain government business. Our client, a software company, now uses a Business Partner Compliance solution (BPCS) which was developed by our US team, based on Microsoft technology, to help them address this risk.

Our review of their existing anti-corruption policies and procedures concluded that while they were adequate on paper, in practice they were extremely difficult to comply with, and were being largely ignored by employees.

Our client now has a world-class business partner risk assessment management tool that is automated and scalable. This tool includes an Internet-based, flexible questionnaire/survey execution engine with a separate, independent authentication and authorization module; an automated business process that includes a workflow for approving business partners based on their level of risk, as well as reporting analysis and monitoring.

Case Study #2 − Our UK team helped their client to maximise the return from its investment in new technology by assuring the implementation of the Dynamics AX solution alongside other technology solutions, as well as defining new processes which improved the efficiency of business processes and reduced operating costs.

Appointed by our client to revitalise its infrastructure and business processes , our UK team helped to define the system requirement for the financials suite, supply chain, procurement, inventory, production, planning and manufacturing. Alongside a comprehensive restructuring of the payroll and HR functions, complementary systems were used that interfaced with Dynamics AX. Programme Assurance was provided by the UK team and some specialist off-shore specialists, utilising PwC’s Microsoft Sure Step Six Pillars Framework for the Dynamics AX aspect. This transformation project delivered a single integrated payroll and HR system and aligned compliance with local tax and employment laws and union agreements, at the same time, reducing headcount by 40 FTEs. The payroll process can now be operated in half the time with 1/5 of the staff and an enhanced profile.

Case Study #3 − Our Dutch team helped a higher education provider to translate its strategy into a new business model, using their in-depth transformation knowledge and skills covering business transformation, the education sector and the Dynamics AX solution.

Our team in the Netherlands helped their client to translate its strategy into a new business model. This included new processes and procedures developed by drawing on in-depth knowledge of the education sector and the Dynamics AX solution, as well as business transformation skills. This new system supports financials, purchasing and projects covering 15,000 students, 1700 employees and over 50 graduate programs.
