President Obama outlines revised health care plan in advance of bipartisan summit; tax proposals include economic substance codification (109kb)

President Barack Obama today proposed an Administration health care reform package that features modified elements of the health care bills passed by the House and Senate, including significant changes in tax provisions previously approved as part of the separate House and Senate measures. The Administration plan is being released in advance of a February 25 health care summit that will include Democratic and Republican Congressional leaders.
