Tom Lewis leads PwC’s Forensic Technology Services team in the UK where he uses data analytic techniques in the detection of fraud and the support of clients who are subject to regulatory or other investigations or involved in litigation. This work includes the detailed examination of electronic devices (Computer Forensics), the analysis of large sets of structured and unstructured data to support the investigatory process (Data Analytics and Data Mining) and the management of the associated review and disclosure process (eDiscovery).
Tom also works in PwC’s cyber security business where he uses complex data analysis to detect evidence of cyber attacks on a client’s network.
The technology team which Tom leads comprises 85 specialists in search technology, data analytics, statistics, computer forensics and Cyber crime.
He also has oversight over PwC’s Data Analytics offerings across all service lines.
Tom has significant experience working with clients across most sectors with a particular focus on Financial Services, Telecommunications and Media.
