As the leader of PwC's global retail and consumer goods practice, John is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals serving the industry. Whether your company is looking to explore emerging markets, trying to understand the latest accounting issue or considering issues related to your risk profile, John has likely – at some point – helped a client with similar challenge. Currently based in the New York metro region, John has also served PwC clients while resident in London and Minneapolis.
In his leadership role, John is also responsible for coordinating service to PwC's largest global consumer goods and retail clients. This provides him with invaluable contacts within PwC – a large network of global partners with whom he can discuss industry trends and from which he can draw expertise. His own expertise, in fact, extends well beyond the industry sector. He has been a member of the PwC U.S. Board of Partners and Principals since 2007, and he was elected to the Global Board of Partners in 2009. This strategy-formation and policy experience has given him further insight into the challenges facing executives in the C-suite as they make high-profile decisions.
Actively involved in professional affairs, John leads PwC's support of the Grocery Manufacturers of America CFO Share Group. He also speaks frequently at executive conferences and has published articles on issues pertaining to consumer goods and retail companies. John graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a B. S. in Accounting. He has also attended educational programs at Dartmouth's Tuck School, Harvard Business School and the University of Virginia's Darden School of Management.
