Phil O’Prey is PwC’s Global Advisory Clients and Markets leader with responsibility for overseeing the PwC’s Advisory Global Clients and sectors and industry programmes. His particular focus is overseeing the Advisory operations of the emerging markets.
Previous to this role, Phil was the Asia Pacific Advisory leader, responsible for leading the execution of the Asia Pacific Advisory strategy.
Phil is a member of PwC’s Global Advisory Leadership team.
He is also currently assisting the National Australia Bank with their transformation programme.
Zimbabwean by birth he has worked and lived across the globe in South Africa, the UK, USA and more recently in Asia. Phil returned to Australia six years ago after five years in Singapore where he held a regional leadership consulting role within IBM.
Although, he is a chartered accountant by profession, Phil has a technology background and has previously helped large, regional organisations execute their growth strategies through effectively transforming their processes and through the successful use and implementation of technology. He has extensive experience in the retail and consumer products industries but has also served clients in technology, communications, energy and, more recently, in banking.
Phil spends his leisure time playing golf, playing the guitar and watching his sons play rugby and cricket.
