Graeme Pike joined PriceWaterhouse (PW) in 1979 after graduating from The University of Nottingham with a degree in Industrial Economics. He has worked in PwC’s Nottingham, Pittsburgh, East Midlands, Birmingham and London offices.
He was admitted to the partnership in 1991.
In 1993, Graeme became leader of the PW Corporate Finance business in the Midlands; voted "Dealmaker of the Year" by fellow professionals from the region's venture capital, banking and legal community in 1996.
He became the leader of the PW London Corporate Finance business in 1997 and then leader of PwC London Corporate Finance in 1998. He was also Global Industrial Products leader for Financial Advisory Services and a member of the task force responsible for defining and implementing a culture change programme, including developing our behavioural values.
Graeme became UK Head of Corporate Finance in 2000 as well as Global Head of Corporate Finance in 2003.
In September 2006, he was seconded to Global Markets and Operations with responsibility for developing new business models for the delivery of global services.
Graeme has also been heavily involved in developing the proposals on the Network of the Future and lead the One Firm Support Services review in the UK which has redefined the way in which functional support to the business is delivered across the UK Firm.
Graeme was appointed as Global Chief Operating Officer for the Advisory line of service on 1 July 2009.
