Dana Mcilwain is the US Services Leader and Vice Chair with responsibility for the US Advisory, Assurance and Tax practices. He also serves as a member of the Global Advisory Leadership team. Previously, Dana was the US Advisory Leader, and prior to that he held regional Advisory leadership roles in the West, East and New York Metro regions. In addition, Dana was previously elected to the firm's Board of Partners and Principals.
He is based in the firm's New York office. With more than 29 years of experience at PwC, Dana has provided a wide range of advisory and consulting services to his clients in the areas of performance improvement, risk management and technology consulting. He spent 13 years of his career focused on serving clients in the entertainment and media industry in both New York and Los Angeles.
Dana is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Society of Certified Public Accountants in New York and California as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He serves on the Business School Council for the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. In addition, Dana is the former Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Red Cross in Greater New York, and also served as a Board and Executive Committee member. Dana earned a degree in Management from Tulane University, with a concentration in Accounting. He and his wife live with their daughter in New York.
