Dana Mcilwain is a PwC Vice Chairman and the U.S. Leader of PwC's Advisory practice, where he provides strategy and direction for over 8,000 professionals focused on helping clients build their next competitive advantage through three areas of focus: Consulting, Deals and Forensics.
Prior to taking on the U.S. Advisory leadership role, he was elected to serve as a member of the U.S. Firm's Board of Partners and Principals, and was the New York (NY) Metro Advisory Regional Leader and East Region Advisory Leader.
Dana joined PwC in 1984 in New Orleans, and served a variety of clients in the Oil and Gas, Industrial Products and Shipping industries. He was admitted to partner in 1996.
Throughout his career, Dana has led Consulting engagements across a range of industries. His experience extends to a variety of high profile clients in the Entertainment, Media and Communications (EMC) and Technology sectors where he led teams providing transformational strategic consulting services that focused on critical areas of risk management and protecting intellectual assets.
Dana is a C.P.A. and holds a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Accounting from Tulane University. He is the former Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the American Red Cross of Greater New York, of which he also served as a Board and Executive Committee Member.
