February 15, 2008 - Josh Ellis (29) was appointed as Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers´ Forensic Services group. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing the continuing growth and development of the regional Forensic Technology Solutions (FTS) practice and establishing Forensic Technology labs across the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) and CIS region.
Josh Ellis stated:
“I do not know of any organisation that does not have at least a minimal IT infrastructure. There is an ever-increasingly reliance on electronic information for the purposes of accounting and statutory reporting. FTS can provide invaluable assistance in fraud investigations and/or in compiling evidence in a dispute by processing and analysing electronic data.”
Josh has over 8 years of Information Technology experience, of which over 6 have been specialised in Forensic Technology within the CEE and CIS areas. He has worked in various industries with particular experience in the telecommunications, banking and manufacturing industries focusing on assisting clients with fraud / corruption investigations, and by supporting their litigations (e.g. eDiscovery and arbitrations).
He attended the University of Keio, Tokyo and graduated from the University of London. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
