Jiří Halouzka appointed partner in the Advisory Services department
24 July 2006 - Jiří Halouzka (39) was appointed partner in the Advisory Services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers. In his new position, he will be responsible for the provision of advisory services to the public sector and to clients active in industrial production, retail, and consumer goods. His main specialisation is process optimisation, management of institutional and company performance, and structural funds.
“Over the last few years, PricewaterhouseCoopers has become a reliable partner of the public sector, providing quality advisory services in many areas. My main goal is to further enhance this partnership. I would like to contribute to our firm being recognised as an independent provider of quality, professional advisory services to both the public sector and clients in other sectors,” said Jiří Halouzka.
He has been working at PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1992. As a consultant, he first focused on risk management and financial audit support. Later, he specialised in process optimisation and performance management. He provided these services mainly to clients in the financial and industrial sectors. In the last few years, he has been focusing on advising public administration, mainly in connection with pre-accession and later structural funds.
Jiří Halouzka graduated from the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering (specialisation in physical electronics) at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He is a member of the International Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and is a certified information systems auditor (CISA). He speaks fluent English.
He is married, has three children, and his interests include his family, photography and travel.
