Tomáš Kuča newly responsible for Slovak activities of the Performace Improvement department
Tomáš Kuča (36) has been newly appointed Director with responsibility for Slovak subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers´ Performance Improvement department, Company solutions group. Apart from his existing activity in the telecommunication sector for the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe, he will be responsible for operation of the PI department and also for introduction of all this department’s products on the Slovak market.
The Company solutions group is engaged in improving financial and operational management and increasing profitability and performance of enterprises and firms. It concentrates mainly on the supplier-consumer chain, analysis and increase of information technology efficiency, management of financial processes, risk management systems and project management.
In his extended role, he considers as his main goal linking with the present successful Slovak team and subsequently strengthening the firm’s advisory skills within Slovakia:
“PricewaterhouseCoopers has been offering consultancy services in Slovakia since 1991 and there is definitely something to continue. In particular, I see prospects for further development in Slovakia in expansion of our range of consultancy services into Banking and Insurance and State Administration. With closer collaboration and using the experience of our Czech colleagues, there is definitely also room for other interesting products.”
Tomáš has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1994 (then Coopers & Lybrand). He gained extensive experience mainly in telecommunications, but also ran big projects in other fields. From 1999 to 2001 he worked on telecommunications projects in Canada and the Caribbean.
He graduated the Faculty of Business and Management at the Brno University of Technology. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is a certified information systems auditor (CISA).
Tomáš Kuča is married and has two children. He devotes most of his free time to his family and his hobbies, which include golf and travelling.
Jan Vylita responsible for coordination of PricewaterhouseCooper's Advisory Services department in Slovakia
Jan Vylita (36) has been entrusted with coordination and development of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Transactions and Crisis Management Services departments in Slovakia.
Jan Vylita stated:
"I consider the trust that our clients place in us when they seek our advice about their business situations to be the most important feature of our work. We must always live up to this trust by working as individual experts within a coordinated network to find the best possible solution. “
The Transactions department is engaged in advising entrepreneurial entities during transactions, in particular mergers, acquisitions and all other kinds of corporate deal. The range of services includes due diligence on the financial and business state of companies, securing funding and valuating assets, deal structuring, negotiations and integration. This can include private sector deals, privatisations, PPP projects, concessions, licence and all other forms of business deals.
Jan will also be leading the group that specialises in the resolution and management of critical situations in companies, and assists with safeguarding and increasing the value during such matters as restructuring, insolvency, fraud investigations, legal disputes and handling of major insurance claims.
Jan has been with PricewaterhouseCoopers since 1996. He specialises in fraud investigation and client support in legal disputes but has also been involved with a broad range of corporate transactions. He also has extensive experience managing long-term, international projects in Switzerland, Russia and Tajikistan.
Jan is a graduate of the Prague Institute of Chemical Technology and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is married and has one child. He devotes most of his free time to his family and his hobbies, which include mineralogy and travelling.
