Marek Richter Appointed Partner Responsible for the Co-ordination of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Moravian Offices in Brno and Ostrava

Marek Richter (37) has been appointed Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Assurance department, with effect from 1 January 2006. Marek Richter is based in the firm's Brno office and in his new position he will oversee the activities of PricewaterhouseCoopers' Moravian offices in Brno and Ostrava. He specialises in providing assurance services to clients, primarily in the manufacturing and retail sectors.
Marek Richter considers his main goal to be to further enhance PricewaterhouseCoopers' market profile in Moravia:
“PricewaterhouseCoopers is already the largest audit firm in Moravia. My goal is to continue to provide first-rate services to Moravian companies. I would like to increase our cooperation not only with local subsidiaries of large multinational organisations, but also with the growing number of midsized Czech-owned companies. My main objectives are satisfied clients and the growth of the firm especially in the Moravian region.”
Marek Richter began working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in October 1993. As a member of the firm's audit team, he has been primarily involved with servicing clients in the consumer and industrial product sector and also in the financial services sector, with both local and international reporting requirements. He also has extensive experience with management of the due diligence process, both in manufacturing and financial services sectors.
He graduated from the
Faculty of Business and Management
at the
Brno University of Technology. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a registered auditor with the Czech Chamber of Auditors. He is fluent in English.
Marek Richter is married and his interests include his family, sports and travelling.
