In his new role, Martin, as a PwC Tax and legal services Director, will focus on the tax aspects of domestic and international tax planning and reorganisations. Martin will continue helping Czech companies with tax aspects of their foreign expansions as well as foreign companies that are structuring their investments in the Czech Republic. Martin also successfully applies his experience with multinationals to the activities of local entrepreneurs in order to help the owners create additional value from their business.

Martin Houska (35) has more than 15 years of experience in tax consultancy in both local and multinational advisory companies. He has a Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Economics in Prague. Additionally, he has studied complex models at MFF UK, and has an MBA certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles - The Anderson School of Management. Martin is a member of the Czech Chamber of Tax Advisors, where he leads the Czech International tax section in the Czech Republic and also represents the Czech Republic in tax matters at CFE. He is also an ACCA member. Martin is married and enjoys spending his free time doing sports, namely karate and aikido, and when the time permits he is nurturing a small forest in his garden.
