The award supports students who are social entrepreneurs and want to create and implement ideas with the support of experts and their peers. The Social Impact Award also serves as a networking and educational platform for both students and the public. It was first introduced in Austria in 2009 and since then it has been organised every year. In 2012, the Social Impact Award is also taking place in the Czech Republic and Romania for the first time.
PwC Czech Republic participated in the award as an educational partner and member of the expert jury that selected the 3 Czech finalists. Another winner was chosen by public. The results are available here.
PwC awarded the winners by the Mentor’s team that will offer consultancy in financial, legal, tax and communication area to the winning teams during the period when they are starting to run their socially responsible businesses. We would like to share our knowledge for creating the sustainable business even more when its effects and solve the society issues.

Anthropictures is a team of 5 Ph.D. students who offer applied field research projects with “bottom-up” and “being-there” approach. They produce valuable visual and textual analyses with sociocultural insight which help to improve performance of the local council institutions.
