Project management involves setting up, planning, designing, and managing projects to allow the planned objectives and project benefits to be achieved.
Companies often have to deal with number of risks related to projects:
- Insufficient definition of project goals and project plan
- Poor involvement of shareholders
- Inadequate qualifications or skills of the project team members
- Unsuitable project set-up or unclear definition of roles and responsibilities
