PwC Business Academy and Nottingham Business School are delighted to announce launch of a professional education programme leading to the award of a University Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and membership of the professional body for HR specialists – the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This internationally recognised qualification in HRM is brought for the first time to the Czech Republic.
Nottingham Business School is part of a leading British University and is very much at the forefront of International Education, especially in the area of Human Resource Management, being one of only 13 centres that are accredited by the CIPD as their Centres of Excellence.
The aim of the CIPD Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel and Development is to prepare individuals for effective and efficient performance in a variety of professional roles in people management and development.
What does it cover?
The content of the programme covers all of the substantive areas of HR – Resourcing, Relations, Rewards and Training and Development. In addition general management concepts are covered as is the business context meaning that the relevance of Human Resource Management in the Czech Republic is focused on, whilst also drawing on international comparative analysis.

Structure of the programme
The programme lasts 2 years with 10 workshops at 6-8 week intervals. All the delivery will be in the Business Academy Prague and the workshops will run in intensive modules of 4 days. Delivery will be from tutors from Nottingham Business School many of whom have an international reputation in areas of their expertise. The teaching will be conducted in English and participants will need to complete written research assignments for assessment by the faculty.
