Joe Appleton is the leader of the PwC Business Academy and has been the head of Learning and Development at PwC Czech Republic since 2004. Joe has over eighteen years of experience in training and development, including 10 years in the Czech republic and has designed and delivered a wide range of leadership and management development solutions for major clients in the U.K., Czech Republic and Internationally.

Joe began his career as an auditor in the City of London and moved into training and development, where he became a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel and Development in the U.K. He has managed training centres and development projects for leading blue-chip companies in the UK and Europe. Joe is also an experienced performance coach and has worked with the leadership of many international companies to improve performance and effectiveness.

Helena Hrubesova has been working in Learning & Development in PwC for 3 years and she is involved in PwC Business Academy as an executive coordinator. She has over 6 years of experience with organising and coordinating trainings as well as other internal and external events. Helena is also experienced in designing and delivering soft skills trainings.
