2. DAY – Visa and residence permits

  • Overview of fundamental regulation and rules of law related to this issue
  • Legalisation of an EU citizen and his family members‘ residence – registration vs. residence permit
  • Legalisation of residence of a third-world countries foreigner and his/her family – visa types, conditions for granting a visa, application differences
  • Extension of visa and residence permits
  • Communication with authorities involved in the immigration process, their role and competences
  • Schengen rules and their impact on employment of third-country foreigners
