PwC Alumni: A lifelong Relationship

PwC in Cyprus launched a series of initiatives to strengthen the connection with their Alumni network. The first event took place on 23 June with the participation of over 65 people both alumni and current PwC staff. The atmosphere was very friendly and ‘nostalgic’ bringing together distinguished professionals and dear friends with diverse knowledge and experiences in different areas of the business.

George Loizou, Markets Leader of PwC made a welcoming introduction, followed by two interesting presentations. One by Eftychios Eftychiou, Tax Partner on stock exchange ups and downs and a brief update on tax issues and a second by Michalis Stavrides, Senior Manager in Advisory on operational effectiveness. The session was completed by questions and answers and a very interesting quiz competition which everyone enjoyed.

The networking cocktail that followed was extended until 9:45 pm and people departed after renewing their relationships with the firm and each other and arranging between themselves to keep in touch.
