Application deadlines: Tuesday November 17th, 2009 by 9:00am The “Experience Program” will provide second-year students with a unique opportunity to work within PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and in industry with our clients. By putting yourself in our clients’ shoes, you will strengthen your client relationship and auditing skills prior to starting your CA designation. This is a new program that will provide you with in-depth experience on life as a PwC professional. Through a placement with our clients, you will also develop a unique perspective on the role of a CA in industry. Your participation in this three-part module will provide you with unparalleled skills and experience that will differentiate you. Part 1: Last two weeks of August 2010 During Part 1, you will be introduced to PwC in a fun and interactive setting. You will learn about such things as PwC’s audit methodology, our clients and industry groups, the PwC Canada Foundation and international secondment opportunities. You will have an opportunity to take part in firm orientation, job shadowing with our partners, managers and staff, and a variety of teambuilding workshops and exercises. Part 2 (Optional): Two weeks between September 2010 and April 2011 During Part 2, you will have an opportunity to return to PwC for up to two additional weeks (over school breaks) to work on PwC audit engagements. Part 3: May 2011 – August 2011 During Part 3, you will have the opportunity to further build your PwC client experience while also working with one of our clients in industry. **Depending on your performance throughout the program, you will receive a full-time offer with PwC to start as a new associate in our Audit and Assurance Group in September 2012.
