Tax memo: Partnership Information Returns – Who Must File Starting 2011?

On September 17, 2010, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) announced a change in its administrative policy on the filing criteria for partnership information returns. For partnerships with fiscal periods ending after December 31, 2010, the requirement to file based on the number of partners will be replaced with one related to financial thresholds and partner structure.
