Tax Memo: 2008 British Columbia Budget
British Columbia's Minister of Finance, the Honourable Carole Taylor, introduced the province's 2008 budget on Tuesday February 19, 2008. The budget unveiled a range of measures addressing climate change, promoting greener choices and encouraging a strong economy. According to the Minister, BC's economy continues to show domestic strength. However, deteriorating conditions in the US economy and its effects on the province's forestry industry may hamper economic growth.
