PricewaterhouseCoopers’ tax, advisory and auditing practices offer diverse work days and challenging assignments
Working for PwC means that no two days, and no two assignments, are exactly alike. We pride ourselves on creating a work environment for people interested in having creative, enriching, and broad-based careers. When you join our team, you will have the opportunity to work with different clients in a variety of industries in an environment that will stretch your intellect and analytical abilities.
Our firm is comprised of three core lines of service: Audit and Assurance (AAG), Tax, and Advisory:
Audit and Assurance
Our Audit and Assurance Group provides assurance on the financial performance and operations to businesses of all sizes. We help our clients improve their external financial reporting and adapt to new regulatory requirements such as Bill 198, Sarbanes-Oxley and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Our audit teams start by spending time getting to know the client, finding out what they do and how they do it. We also want to know what they are planning to do in the future. We put all this information together to establish what risks the organization faces, how those risks might impact the client’s financial statements, and how best to address them.
Once the client has prepared financial statements, our audit team analyzes and scrutinizes the numbers to see if they make sense, checking them back to other supporting evidence and making sure that everything that should be included has been.
These two roles of risk assessment and financial statement analysis utilized by PwC provide you with the skills required to execute an audit effectively.
Tax Services
Every monetary transaction completed — domestic or international, business or personal — has direct or indirect tax consequences. With tax laws constantly changing, we provide the sound, professional advice that is essential to maximize value. We work with companies of all sizes across a wide range of industries — creating custom solutions using our knowledge and experience.
Some of our practitioners work in specialty groups and focus on building deep technical expertise in areas such as transfer pricing, indirect tax, mergers and acquisitions, personal tax planning for high net worth individuals, and scientific research and experimental development tax credits.
While many of our practitioners are CAs, many others are working towards or have obtained other professional designations including the CMA, CGA, and CPA, as well as the Master of Tax and Masters of Science — Taxation qualifications.
Advisory Services

Our engagements are largely project based, and you will often find yourself sharing and collaborating with other professionals who have similar and complementary skills and competencies. The work is challenging, but you will have ample support and encouragement, and the opportunities for growth are exciting.
