CLIENT: A $10 billion plus food retailer.
This retailer was seeking our knowledge to review the cost of telecommunications services and recommend cost-savings opportunities while not sacrificing existing service levels. The retailer also asked us to review the process for managing telecommunications services and recommend improvements.
We conducted a ground-up review of the invoices, configuration and processes for telecommunication management. The scope included head office, distribution centres, and store locations including but not limited to: data services, long distance and local usage, audio and video conferencing, cellular services, and telecom management process.
We reviewed the existing contracts and led a detailed RFP process in voice, network and wireless service lines. We also conducted a detailed organizational assessment and recommended organization and process changes.
