After performing a selling, general and administrative expense (SG&A) benchmark analysis, the client asked us to conduct a detailed retail finance benchmark and develop a plan to reduce cost while maintaining the high service levels business leaders expected.
We conducted a retail-specific finance benchmark to identify significant financial opportunities within the finance function. A series of current state workshops and a work activity analysis was conducted to identify specific process improvements. Working closely with a cross-divisional team, we made specific recommendations to redesign processes, implement new technology and redesign the organizational structure to reduce costs and position the company for future growth.
