The Plan Nord will showcase Northern Quebec’s incredible mining potential

The mineral resources in northern Quebec have yet to reveal their full potential. In the coming years, at least 11 new projects could be implemented in the territory covered by the Plan Nord, with $8.24 billion in investments, 11,000 jobs created during the construction phase and approximately 4,000 jobs created per year during the operating phase. In addition, the area is the site of various other mining exploration and development projects, including numerous iron mining projects.
