2011 Federal Budget Submission (January 24, 2011)
Members of PwC's Canadian National Tax Services team provided the Minister of Finance with income tax proposals in preparation for the 2011 federal budget. The proposals aim to improve the liquidity and competitiveness of Canadian businesses.

Pharma 2020: Supplying the future
This is the sixth paper in our Pharma 2020 series. It highlights how pharma companies will have to develop different supply chain models for different product types and patient segments, learn to use their supply chains as a means of market differentiation and source of economic value, and recognize the key role information will play flowing upstream to drive the downstream flow of products and services. In the future, companies that produce specialist medicines can either become virtual manufacturers and distributors or create service-oriented supply chains. In parallel, companies that produce mass-market medicines, including generics, can either become low-cost providers or build supply chains that service other organizations and generate a profit in their own right.

Q4 2010 Moneytree report
Venture capitalists invested $21.8 billion in 3,277 deals in 2010, an increase of 19 percent in dollars and a 12 percent rise in deals over the prior year, according to PwC's Q4 Money Tree report. This special, expanded report provides detailed results of Q4 2010 as well as comprehensive findings for full years 2009 and 2010. Growth reimagined - Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences Sector Report
This survey documents a surprising level of confidence in this environment; chief executives are nearly as confident of growth this coming year as they were in the boom years before the crisis. The survey also revealed where CEOs see growth coming in 2011, and how they are going to achieve it. This is a summary of the key findings in the Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences sector, based on the results of this year's survey, drawn on interviews with 53 Pharma and life sciences CEOs in 23 countries.
