Wesley Mark is a partner in the Deals practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Toronto office. His primary roles are (i) the leader of our multi-disciplined China Desk for PwC Canada; and (ii) a key member of our Valuation & Strategy Advisory (VSA) group. Wesley joined the firm in 1987 after obtaining a BCom from the University of Toronto, and his tenure with the firm includes spending four years in PwC’s Hong Kong/China practice.
Wesley is a CA and a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and has a variety of experience in providing advisory and financial reporting related services. He has provided extensive financial, valuation, and other strategic advisory related services to enterprises in a wide variety of industries and countries in North America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. This includes business and intangible asset valuations, business/due diligence reviews, validation of key strategic or investment decisions, fairness opinions, shareholder value analysis, and the preparation and assessment of business plans/cases. These services have been provided for various purposes, including merger and acquisition activity, financial and regulatory reporting, capital raising, shareholder and tax planning, corporate restructurings, and corporate governance.
Wesley’s China/Hong Kong experience includes providing advisory and accounting/auditing related services for both domestic and foreign companies with operations/investments in China. As part of his role as leader of our Canadian China Desk, he maintains close contact with our Chinese firm.
