Vik Sachdev is a partner in the Tax Services practice of PwC Canada working in the Oakville office. He is a member of PwC's Technology practice and also serves as the national leader of the firm’s Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax practice.
Vik has a broad range of experience providing income tax advice to clients, primarily in the technology sector. He has worked closely with Canadian and multinational software and other technology companies, advising them in a variety of areas including scientific research and experimental development claims, venture capital structuring, US and international expansion, cross-border tax planning, intellectual property tax planning and corporate reorganizations.
Vik has spoken at various conferences and seminars, addressing relevant tax issues and is currently an instructor for PwC’s Expert Access seminar series for financial executives of technology companies.
Vik joined PwC in 1991 after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and joined the tax practice in 1995. He obtained his CA designation in 1994.
